“We learnt (tool development) techniques which were never discussed before. All resource persons were very cooperative and knowledgeable ...,” one of the 28 participants excitedly endorsed the effectiveness of AKU-EB’s five-day workshop on Testing and Assessment in the Semester System conducted at the Kohat University of Science and Technology (KUST). The Workshop was held in collaboration with the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan as part of a series of three workshops conducted in Khyber Pakhtunkhwah (KPK) within the last six months. It was designed to assist the faculty members of the University and its affiliated colleges to smoothly transition from Annual Examination System to Semester Assessment System. The interactive Workshop focused on achieving the following objectives:
AKU-EB also supplied supplementary reading material to each attendee to help enhance their knowledge. Almost 93% of the participants found the workshop to be highly beneficial and expressed the need for such workshops on a regular basis.

AKU-EB is pleased to announce exemptionfor HSSC Commerce students on behalf of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). Students who have successfully completed our Principles of Accounting syllabus are eligible for exemption in the Foundations in Accounting (FA) 1: Recording Financial Transactions examination. FA1 is part of ACCA's suite of Foundation level certificates and diplomas including the Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) Qualification.
